Our customers, stakeholders and community are invited to help shape water services and prices through our next Price Submission, covering the period from 2028 to 2033.
Hearing from you will help us better understand your priorities and expectations for fair water access – while adapting to climate variability, meeting our regulatory requirements and supporting regional growth in southern Victoria.
This is your chance to tell us what’s important to you and how you think we should strike the balance between cost, service and long-term sustainability.
Prices are independently approved by the Essential Services Commission to make sure they’re fair – for you now, and into the future.
Why your input matters
Delivering water services involves balancing a range of factors. This ranges from safely maintaining and improving infrastructure – including seven storage dams and irrigation systems that enable vital Victorian food and fibre production – to meeting regulatory requirements for fair access to sustainably managed water resources.
We operate on a cost-recovery basis. That means every dollar our customers pay goes straight back into running, maintaining and upgrading the infrastructure and services that provide access to water. No more, no less. As we plan for the future, there will be trade-offs between cost, service levels and long-term outcomes.
That’s why it’s important we understand what matters most to regional communities who rely on our water services.
