BLUE ROCK DROUGHT RESERVE

As outlined in the Gippsland Sustainable Water Strategy (SWS) there has been a volume of water put aside for temporary allocation from Blue Rock Reservoir for existing irrigators on the Latrobe River, downstream of Blue Rock Reservoir.

This water is now being made available on a temporary basis for the remainder of the 2018-19 irrigation season.

This temporary water will put up for auction via Southern Rural Water’s online auction site Waterbid.

A minimum of 285 megalitres in multiple lots will be offered for auction from 11am Wednesday 8 May 2019 with the auctions ending from 11am Thursday 9 May 2019.

To be eligible to bid on this water you must hold a current Section 51 irrigation Licence on the Latrobe River downstream of Blue Rock Reservoir.
