River flows above Lake Glenmaggie are continuing to reduce. Upstream flows at gauging stations on the Macalister River at 5pm were: Glencairn 5,300ML per day, Licola 9,100ML per day, Stringybark Creek 10,600ML per day.
Lake Glenmaggie now holds 162,900ML (Capacity is 177, 640ML) and is rising steadily. Our computed inflow over the last six hours was approximately 14,000ML per day. We have reduced outflows further and will continue to reduce releases slowly to manage the environmental impact on the Macalister River.
We will provide a final update tomorrow.
