Rosters and Restrictions

When river, creek and groundwater levels drop, Southern Rural Water often has to introduce rosters, restrictions or bans to ensure a fair distribution of available water to all licence holders.

Winter irrigation roster 2021 – Bacchus Marsh (BMID)

Winter irrigation roster 2021

To enable our customers to plan winter irrigation requirements in conjunction with Southern Rural Water’s winter maintenance activities, please note the following winter irrigation roster, which runs from from May 2021 to the end of September 2021.

Providing there is enough demand, water supply will be available to irrigators in the Bacchus Marsh Irrigation District from Monday to Friday on the dates stipulated in the table below.

*Note: As we need the last week in June and the first week in July to enter meter reads and reconcile end of season accounts, we are making water available for 2 weeks from June 14th to June 25th for customers to fill dams.
We can only run the system once we have enough orders to ensure a flow rate above 15 ML per day.

Please place your order on Waterline at www.srw.com.au/worder/ or contacting the 24 hour telephone Water Ordering Service on 1300 360 117. You will need to place your orders at least two business days before the water is required.

Winter irrigation roster 2021 – Werribee (WID)

To enable our customers to plan winter irrigation requirements in conjunction with Southern Rural Water’s winter maintenance activities, please note the Werribee winter irrigation roster from May 2021 to the end of September 2021 (click on the link below).

Providing there is enough demand, water supply will be available to irrigators in the Werribee Irrigation District from Monday to Friday on the dates stipulated in the table below.

*Note: As we need the last week in June and the first week in July to enter meter reads and reconcile end of season accounts, we are making water available for 2 weeks from June 14th to June 25th for customers to fill dams.

** Note: Recycled water will NOT be available from 1th July to 25th July due to Melbourne Water Maintenance at the plant.

In exceptional circumstances if demand is high, we may deliver water on non-rostered days. Please place your order on Waterline at www.srw.com.au/worder/ or contact the 24-hour telephone Water Ordering Service on 1300 360 117. You will need to place your orders at least two business days before the water is required.
