School incursions and group tours

Southern Rural Water can come into your classroom to talk about sharing water fairly in a catchment and how groundwater works. Our visits include hands-on activities.

We also welcome host tours on site for community and school groups at our reservoirs and irrigation districts. To apply read our Excursion terms and conditions.

World Water Day 2022

In partnership with Wannon Water, SRW is pleased to launch a competition with local schools in the southwest region for World Water Day 2022: Discovering Groundwater – Making the Invisible, Visible.

Schools (and parents) have been encouraged to get kids learning about groundwater across the region and submit their projects showing what they have learned.

There are great prizes to be won for students and schools. Entries are now open and close 13 May 2021. Find out more and enter here:
