Mission H2O

The mission H2O game is an initiative of the Savewater Alliance and Swinburne University. The interactive adventure is a great way for kids to have fun while learning about water conservation.

Your mission

Water storages are at a critically low level; you have been assigned to the Wilson family household to save water.

Move through the house, exploring each room to discover water saving tips and hidden videos.

Play all 8 mini-games and submit your highest score to successfully complete your mission.

Your mission begins at

School Tours

Southern Rural Water offers regular educational tours of the Macalister Irrigation District and Werribee Irrigation District for local primary school children.

Tours and classroom visits can also be arranged on request for our Bacchus Marsh Irrigation District.

School Visits

Southern Rural Water also does visits to the school classroom.

We can tailor a visit to suit your school and classroom. Some of the topics that we can talk about include sharing water fairly in a catchment, and how groundwater works.

Our visits always include some hands-on activities.

National water week

Southern Rural Water is a proud supporter of National Water Week.
National Water Week was first held in 1993. It is designed to assist our community to take actions that help protect and conserve our most precious resource – water.
