School incursions and group tours

Southern Rural Water can come into your classroom to talk about sharing water fairly in a catchment and how groundwater works. Our visits include hands-on activities.

We also welcome host tours on site for community and school groups at our reservoirs and irrigation districts. To apply read our Excursion terms and conditions.

National Water Week

Southern Rural Water is a proud supporter of National Water Week.

National Water Week was first held in 1993. It is designed to assist our community to take actions that help protect and conserve our most precious resource – water.

Each year we partner with water corporations across the state to investigate and celebrate the importance of water in our communities.

Visit our National Water Week page for more details of water week activities

Southern Rural Water acknowledges and recognises Aboriginal people as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land and waters on which we work and live, and we respect their deep and ongoing connection to Country. For more about the First Nations peoples on whose Country we work, click here.
