| When river, creek and groundwater levels drop, Southern Rural Water often has to introduce rosters, restrictions and bans to ensure a fair distribution of available water to all licence holders.

| Roster hotlines | | We have a number of hotlines that provide licence holders with daily updates on rosters and restrictions. If a roster has been introduced in your area, you must ring the hotline on any given day before you divert any water.
